It's nice...
But it feels kinda "lazy" imo, needs more drive. The mixdown could be better but it's not bad. For more drive you could try to use harder compression on the kickdrum + make it abit sharper with EQ'ing or layering another above it, dno. I basicly know nothing about this genre so it's difficult to give any proper feedback...
It's a decent remix overall I guess, never been a fan of this kind of EDM though.
I appreciate the comment. Yeah, I understand your point with edm - everyone's got their tastes. I've varied mine over the year as I've found there's some good shit in ever sub genre. But as far as the kick, yes, I've already begun with making it a sharper sound and carrying that method onto my new tracks.

It could be a nice song but I'm abit confused about the mixdown. Just watching @ the newgound's EQ Spectrum and I see that there's a straight cut @ higher treble frequencie's. That makes your track sounding really muddy and messy so you'r cutting those out? D: And work on the mixdown overall, the drums drown when the bass comes in, maybe try a sidechain compression on the bass so when the bassdrum hits it fades the bass same time.
Those were just some quick thoughts about your track, so IMO you should focus more on the mixdown side.

It wasn't that bad. I mean, it has the basic elements for hardstyle but they all sound really unfinished. I just wrote a long review on another hardstyle submission where I told some basic tips for making a decent hardstyle kick, maybe check that out. ;P
As I said I'm not even reviewing the sound design/mixdown side since the elements need so much work (Well, just some basic EQ'ng/Compression), soo about the track itself: The melody was catchy in the intro and climax but too happy (Nothing bad in happy hardstyle, I just prefer more darker atmosphere). The track structure was typical for hardstyle, intro->mid intro->break->climax and so on.
I dont know, somehow I find hard time reviewing this one. :( Anyways, keep it up and be sure to check out my hardstyle submissions! :)
Thanks for the advice! This is one of my first hardstyles. I make a lot of happier songs (probably because I'm always happy so I can't make harder or "sadder" songs). I have another version that I finished that also has an outro, but I didn't post it because most of the NG community doesn't care for outros... oh well. I checked out your songs and I like them! I'm still running of the standard FL Studio plugins (Wasp and 3xOsc were used in this one). Thanks again for the review!

That was crazy! D: But it needs more work (ofc since its WIP), especially the mixdown. Those hihat's/other percussion elements have way too high volume IMO, kickdrum needs more power and so does the snare. More distortion to the "wobble" sounds and also EQ them a little better since they are abit muddy atm. Maybe sidechain the kickdrum to the bass carefully to make it more present in the mix, dunno, experiment?
Anyways it was awesome so continue it for sure! And check my audio submissions too, I've just started to produce dubstep so theres only 1 dubstep submission atm.

Anyways, I'll judge this from the sound design/mixdown side then. :P
Mixdown could be alot better, some sounds are too loud and some frequencies could have been cut or boosted from some instruments.
The fill-in sweeps were too loud, they hurt my ears. It was a bit mess in some parts but overall was decent, maybe abit too repeative but I guess thats just trance.
Try to fix your mixdown in the future by making headroom for other sounds with simply EQ. Cut down unwanted low frequencies on high freq leads, etc. <-- Dunno if you know this already tho. :) Use compressors to prevent sounds reaching too high levels, etc.
About the song itself, I didnt like it much but thats just my opinion and I've never liked trance since IMO its kinda boring genre.
Sorry but I cant give you higher than 7 even if you put weeks of work for this. :(

I dont like the lead synth much, its weak and pitched too high. Layer more synths for the lead, EQ them correctly and add some nice reverb/delay. I usually go with about 4-8 layers for my hardstyle leads, depends. The leads are quite nicely EQ'd already tho but be still careful when EQ'ng. :P
Dont know about the kick, its abit weak too and needs much more powerfull sub bass layer. But the shape of the bass is quite nice but its maybe abit too sharp, lower the higher freq's abit.
Overall its decent, keep producing! :)

I tend to make leads way to sharp, believe it or not it's an 4 layered lead. More layers would ruin my EQ work. But I'll make it less piercing.
I totally agree on the kick, It might be the high frequencies yes. I'll take an look on that.

Agree with the previous reviewer. Sounds good from my studio monitors but some sounds need better equalizing since they sound kinda flat. The filthered kicks sound decent but you could have made them still alot better, more reverb, abit more distortion and resonance to the filter, etc... You are getting there tho, the bass's distorted layer is good and so is the sub layer. Check my hardstyle submissions. ;)

This sounds awesome. IMO it could be easily implemented in a song, as example continue it by layering another maybe abit more detuned synth playing higher notes, I don't know about trance much since I'm a hardstyle producer, that's just what i would do. ^^ Anyways the sounds are nicely EQ'd and it sounds professional, check my short track preview from the latest submissions.
